August 15, 2014: Clothed

Dear friends-

I’m going to let the essay below serve as our invitation to you to join us this week in worship. We will welcome a group of liturgical dancers, led by Rev. Judy Waible, retired pastor of the United Church of Hardwick, as the centerpiece of our worship. It will be a service of healing, dance, music, and prayer…

And no formal sermon (not that sermons are especially formal in our sanctuary!). That’s two weeks in a row, if you’re counting. As I said last Sunday in church, some will be sad about that and others will rejoice… :-)

We will welcome the dancers and singers. We’ll also welcome you. Tell us how we are at that, and help us be one big welcoming circle, or, as the essay below says, "A procession of angels passing before each person, saying, ‘Make way for the image of God!”

That would be you. Really.

Sabbath blessings-
