BETTY'S OBITUARY

Betty R. Cochran, 88, of Craftsbury, VT passed away on September 27, 2023 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born on May 22, 1935 in Wolcott, VT to the late Wayne and Ada (Jones) Reynolds. On October 4, 1952 she married Calvin Cochran who predeceased on August 4, 1992.

Betty received her professional bookkeeping and accounting certificate from Lamoille Union High School. She worked with her husband Calvin on the farm and also was a daycare provider. She enjoyed taking care of children, crocheting, sewing, and always loved feeding her whole family. She was a past member of the Walcott Nazarene Church and also the United Church of Craftsbury.

She is survived by her son Larry Cochran and his wife Mary of Hardwick, VT, Terry Cochran and his wife Karen of Wolcott, VT, Nathan Cochran and his wife Avril of Craftsbury, VT, Valerie Smith and her husband Steve of Craftsbury, many grand and great grandchildren, her brother Gerald Reynolds of Beverly, WV, half-sister Nora Larsen of Manchester, VT and “her angel” Mark Reynolds of Houston, TX.

She was also predeceased by her sons Michael and David Cochran (Laurie)  and her brother Francis Reynolds.
