Celebration of Life Bonnie Louise (Kelley) Moses

GLOVER, VT: Bonnie Louise (Kelley) Moses, 75, died January 10, 2024, at the Union House Nursing Home in Glover with family at her side.

  She was born January 01, 1949, in Holyoke, MA.; the daughter of the late Frank D Kelley and Edythe R. (Vanderbilt) Reardon. She graduated from Montpelier High School in the class of 1966. Later In life, she continued her education at Jefferson Technical College/ Dret School of Nursing in Steubenville, Ohio, receiving an LPN license. She then was employed at the LaBelle View Nursing Home for over 10 years where she met her dear friends, Barbara Davenport, and Nancy Ellis.

On April 23,1977 she married Frank Edward Moses in Steubenville. Together they raised four children and laid to rest an infant daughter, Kelley Rae Marie. Her husband died on October 6,1998 and she relocated to Vermont in 2001.

She enjoyed volunteering at the Food Ministry in Steubenville and Wintersville, OH, crocheting, cooking, gardening, singing, and dancing, crossword puzzles, family time, her dog Peachi, and indulging in Hershey’s chocolate bars. Bonnie will be deeply missed by her family and her best friend of over 70 years, Nancy Hallstrom of Waterbury.

Survivors include: four children: Larry Moses and his wife, Angie of Cana, VA, Scott Moses and his wife, Emily, of Port Angeles, WA., Kristy Jackson and her husband Maurice, of Steubenville, Ohio and Nikki Courchaine and her husband Donald, of Craftsbury, a step-daughter, Norma Klein of Mansfield, Ohio; nine grandchildren: Ashley, David (Bud),  Robin, Aliyah, Elijah AJ, Donald, Deeno, and Dovahkiin;  two great grandchildren, Shyaira, and Kamren;  and several step-grandchildren and great-grand grandchildren;  two brothers, Scott Kelley and his wife Pam, of Salineville, Ohio and, Rance Bradshaw and his wife Maria, of Florida; as  well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for later in 2024 at the convenience of her family.
